Q: What is Self Shipping?
A: Self Shipping simply shipping yourself or a character made to represent you with a character from media. That character can be an original character, a character from a movie or book, anything really. If you don't know what shipping is - it's imagining / projecting a romantic relationship between two characters. So within this context- you're imagining a romantic relationship between yourself and your favorite character.
Q: What do these terms (ex: f/o & s/i) mean?
A: Fictional Other, F/O, is the character you ship yourself with! Your Self Insert, S/I, is the character made to represent you.
Q: Why do people self ship?
A: Simple! People get crushes on fictional characters all the time- why not have fun with it? I personally enjoy inserting my characters and self into my favorite media ontop of getting to imagine romantic scenarios with my favorite characters.
I've been selfshipping for well over a decade, starting when I first got on the internet back in 2010. I love a lot of characters very passionately and typically most of these characters I've loved since I was a child! I collect a lot of F/O's, but I tried to highlight the most important ones to me in the main section. I apologize for how long this page might take to load as again- there are quite a few. [I have to count, bare with me] to be exact as of [date]. Click on their icons to be taken to their fandom wiki.

BOUNDARIES AND NOTICE: I'm working on making this page neater and updating it to better reflect my current fictional others. Many are missing or out of date. Bare with me while this gets updated.
As for Boundaries- I don't mind sharing F/O's just don't be rude about it or say you love someone more than I do. Be nice and we won't have a problem. This part will be much neater in the future as I finish updating this and include an FAQ section.
